Best in Bow: July 2012 Products

I could go through a massive detailed description of the beauty products I'm loving... but instead, I'm dumping out the contents of my makeup bag and showing you exactly what I'm using at this very moment in time. I wouldn't be using them if they weren't products I didn't love, right?!

For July, I'm loving bronzed skin, strong brows, long black lashes, a la Kim Kardashian:

Simple, summery, and nearly natural... just better!

Best in Bow

I'm obviously a fan of all of the above (Bows? Candles? Bandeau bikinis? Missoni? ... enough said). However, when it comes to Prada's Saffiano Tote... love, love, love. I've been on the search for the perfect black leather tote with yellow goldtone accents, and this one is definitely on the top of my list. The shape is perfect, and I could see myself using this one for years. So classic.

My Vision of Home

While I'm starting my career and getting closer to the reality of having my own space, I've actually been stocking up on many household goods to get me started during the past year or so. I've always had a pretty concise vision of my decor style, but I've been doing much more research recently to nail the look I'm after. More than anything, I want to create a space that is beautiful, airy, and yet cozy. I want people to walk in my home and think that it has "sparkle," and yet aren't afraid to sink in my couch and put their feet up. I think elegance can only exist for me if it's also comfortable and livable, and hopefully I'll be able translate this in the coming months into my own home. Sooo exciting.

Best in Bow: Black Boots

I'll just admit it now; I'm a complete and utter boot addict. Booties, knee-highs, rain wellies, Uggs (ughh, did I actually just admit that?!). Pair knee-high leather boots with dark denim, and you've got my fall and winter uniform. While I love cognac and whiskey-colored boots, black is amazingly versatile and will stay in style for years and years. This time of year is amazing for scoping out the best of them, since so many people are still in denial that cool weather is soon upon us. Get it, girls.

My picks:
Christian Louboutin's Leather Knee-High Platform Boots (shop)
Pour La Victoire's Imari Leather Knee-High Boots (shop)
Gucci's Ride Mid-Heel Boots (shop)
